The reviews I've seen for the late in the day brekkie aren't good but haven't actully been to a fast food place in quite some time.

Probably the only movie Douglas ever made that I liked.
I also think a lot of people could sympathize with Duvall's character of the henpecked husband too.

I enjoyed the character's take on golf courses.
Robert Duvall was excellent as usual. His timing when
taking out the big mouthed cop was impeccable.

That was a great movie and as stated one of Micheal Douglas's best! I liked Robert Duvals character as well, he usually always plays a good part!

The character had previously been employed as an areospace engineer, designing weapons, but lost his job owing to DoD cutbacks at the time. There was some implication that he was a Vietnam era veteran from his interactions with the begger in the park.

But...a much better rendition of a similar theme was DeNiro in Taxi Driver.

It was and remains a very good movie. IMPO.

One of Duval's best works as well as Douglas. Great writing and very good character actors.
