NHL STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS 2016

Didn't Boston pull this same disappearing act at the end of last season too?

Too bad they can't play the Blues in the playoffs. It would improve their odds of beating the Blues.

Yep, same thing. They can lift thier game against hot teams though. It should be a good game.

Can somebody tell me how the 2 teams in the Wild Card positions in the east have more points than the Bruins who are up in the non Wild Card standings? At best by the numbers the Bruins should only be the bottom Wild Card. It makes no sense to me.

The top three teams in each division automatically make it, then the next two teams with the most points get in as wildcard teams.

So right now in the Atlantic division, Boston is in third place so they are in.

The top five teams in the Metro division have more points than the Bruins so as of today, the two wildcard teams are coming from the Metro division.

Now if Detroit jumps Boston in the division after tonight's games, Boston would be out of the playoffs since they have less points than the two wildcard teams (Islanders and Flyers)

Got all that???

The old format was so much easier to follow.

Getting ready for a biggie tonight against those high flying Blues.

We shall see how much flying they will be doing.;)

GO BRUINS:D

I guess the Wings will have their hands full tonight also.

What a mess both of us are in.:(

Lab,
I would be more than happy to sacrifice a win (as long as no one gets injured) to help the Bruins make the playoffs.

And seriously...check out +/- leaders...big kid...rookie...Colton Parayko. You heard it here first.

What a team that was. Makes me want to collect hockey cards again.

I believe they were coached by an ex-Blues coach.

They really did have great teams, the Habs didn't like what they were doing though.;):D
