NHL STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS 2019

The issue being the house was built in the early 20s.... interior walls are all hardwood paneling... stud or no stud it's not gonna be fun.
I would avoid the head banging as much fun as it sounds.

Great series. Was pulling for the Blues just for the "haven't done it" factor plus Boston simply has enough trophies amongst all the major sports right now.

Now that I can breathe, I have some words.

I want to thank the gracious Bruins fans I have had the privilege to become friends with on this thread through the years. I know you are disappointed, but I also know that many of you are happy for me regardless of team allegiance. Labworm is the best of hosts. He and others here have encouraged me during some dark days...and I'm not just talking hockey.

Rusty, you be sure to tell Logan that this old Missouri Curmudgeon is very proud of him. I plan to match his gift to the hospital, and I encourage others on this forum to do the same for their local children's hospital. Laila and Logan are both heroes.

Frankly, I was never confident this day would come. And as I enjoyed the moment, I smiled and said out loud, "She would have so enjoyed this night."

Let's Go Blues!!!!

THE ST. LOUIS BLUES, STANLEY CUP CHAMPS!!!!

Great series all around with grit and skill on both sides.
Congratulations to our younger sibling team the Blues and all the fans. You won The Cup, enjoy!

Thank you again to our gracious host and resident Bruins fan, LW. The Bruins played hard and provided all hockey fans an amazing series. Now that it is over we will find out how damaged many of the players (on both teams) actually were.
I always enjoy participating with such a great group of folks, talking hockey and getting hungry seeing all the good food. :)

A great playoff series from the disappointing quarter final that swept the Lightning out thru to the Cup final!
Great game BLUES !
Bruins sure did go down fighting.
Personally I'd have liked seeing Binnington get a shutout to end his season, but it was not to be.

Incredible game. Binnington was just other worldly. Hate he didn't get his shutout. He sure deserved it.

Bruins defense was flat out terrible IMO. D-man should have tied up O'Reilly's stick on the first goal, Marchand absolutely blew it making a change on the second goal, Blues just barely missed another goal on an odd man rush halfway through the 2nd, and by the time the 4th goal was scored the Bruins D had just given up entirely.

I was born in Boston but raised in Carolina, so as much as I would've loved to cheer for the Bruins I just couldn't bring myself to do it after they swept my Canes.

Either way, excellent series. Congrats to the Blues. Ending a drought is always unforgettable.

I'm sorry that the Bruins lost. However, I just want to point out that I did predict this before the finals started. This is how it goes with me. Any team I root for will lose.

How is the celebratory parade going?

The first picture is as close as I got today. It was packed down there.

The second picture is as close as I got Thursday night. Did a shot with Big Walt that night too.
