My Tundra is gone

As you are going European, maybe you should consider the Lada Niva, too.

That's the one car I didn't expect to see listed. Don't think too many Americans even know of it

Great 4x4 but not sold here and I doubt youd find too many Americans wanting that car with its quirks

"Iff'in your needin a backup plan".................

Haven't had it long but loving my 2016 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X crew cab w/ an ARE Z cap......... slightly bigger brother to a X-terra...... same off road "stuff".

2012's w/ less than 30,000 can be had for less than $25,000.....or so my buyer told me......I can attest to coming close on a couple.......long story

Holy ****, I am still having trouble getting over the fact that you got $27,500 for a 9 year old truck. What the heck is the new price? She certainly looks good in the photo but almost $30k for a truck that's almost 10 years old in vehicle years (17's should be out soon) is just amazing to me. But I only paid $40,000 for my first 3 bedroom ranch house so these car and truck prices give me a nose bleed.
He didn't 'get' 27500.............they 'showed' him 27500.
How much would that ranch sell for today? It's all relative.

I like the one you bid on. Let us know how that goes.

I will. It still has 8 days to go and I really do want to win that auction, but I always seem to do something stupid at the last sec and end up loosing.
Ideally it would be a great score at $18000 but I feel it will go beyond that, I may go $22,500 as my max and hope no-one snipes me at the end.

Personally, I liked the smaller Tundras through 05- or was it 06, better than the big ones. A buddy has an 02 with that silky smooth V8, same motor they put in the Lexus LS series back then. Good for 400K miles easy. Solid as a rock and quiet as a tomb.

I agree. Had been looking at new trucks for about a year. I took this truck for a test drive back in March of 2000 (first year of the Tundra). I was so impressed I wrote a check for it on the spot. If they made a similar model I'd buy a new one but this one still drives and looks near new.

Good news . I talked to the seller about my sniper fears and he and he agreed it was a big risk and he thought the car would go north of 22,500, and if I agreed to a buy it now he would sell it for that .
I was delighted I know there are cheaper ones out there but none as nice as this one. and I got it for what I thought it was really worth.
Imagine a 26 year old car with only 16,000 miles on it!
I`ll post some more pic soon

some pix of my new Wolf, now we need to give it a name.
I found out it served in the Danish Army

Sweeeeet...... congrats......... that vehicle is a hoot!!!!

LOL it call out for a " technical"style... pedestal camera mount ........ to mount your cameras with "long" lens...... like.... "Rat Patrol!" :D

I hope it drives better than it rides. When I was in Kosovo, I rode in the back seat of one of those MB "Jeeps", driven by a German soldier.

I would rather be waterboarded than do that again. :(

Thanks Gill, I haven't even sat in it yet and I`m already getting a bad report.
Maybe that German soldier was trying to pay you back for us winning the war. Other tan the ride how did you like the vehicle?

Maybe that explains the 16,000 miles......... the Dane's ....... aka former Vikings......... solders would rather march than ride !!!!!

Sorry could not help myself

:D

Now that I am the proud owner of one of these things I decided to learn about them. I am amazed at how versatile they are . There like the little engine that could. Check out some of the configurations its in. And this is just a few. I can't wait to start outfitting my "Wee Wolf" it named its own self.

Oh yeah that one is my fav. but I think I would miss the windshield this winter . I like the shovel and axe mounts and 5 gas cans. How about the way they mounted the MA Deuce up top and what MG is that on the dash board?
Also recon what all that added weight has done to its performance? No matter it looks cool as ever was.

Looks like a "chopped" FN M249 SAW...........

Can't get a Ma-duce........ add a .50 cal scoped Barrett. semi

Just needs a Willie's style fold down windshield.....

Can't get a Ma-duce........

Sure you can. A local shop here in Columbus that has a nice NFA section had one for sale the last time I was in there. Asking price was just about half of what I paid for my house and $20K more than I've ever paid for a car or truck!
