Year of manufacture of Model 67

Bought this Model 67 with a 4" barrel some time around 1978 used. Has been my CCP for years. Any one have an idea of year of manufacture? Also would be interested in value range.

Welcome to the Forum. Yes, around 1974 - give or take a year. Is the serial no. 6K26232 ? and it's a Mod. 67 no dash ? Gun show asking prices for these run around $350 -$400 for police surplus examples. Ed.

Thank you for the information. Yes the serial no.is 6K26232 and it is a Mod. 67 no dash. Still have the bill of sale from when I bought it although it is not dated. I think I bought it in 1978, from a local police officer. (Bremerton Washington) Receipt shows that I paid $165.00.

Welcome to the FORUM! My no dash is from 1973. It has the all stainless rear sight. This was changed to blued by S&W on later guns. You are in the right section. I have seen many priced between $400 + $600. Depends on your area somewhat. Bob
