Yep, they have pretty decent prices and free shipping on firearms.
The 45 Shield is $344.99. The rebate brings it down to $269.99

I see Shields hitting the 2,000,000 mark very soon. 
Was that the Remington $5 off a box ammo they recently offered?
I was looking for some 10mm and found a bunch of Sig brand for less than the Rem's without any rebate, in Cabelas.
The Sig 180gr shoot like a laser in my 1076.

Although I find the rebate most perplexing ????
I understand they are trying to get rid of the existing inventory on the shield's. But why ?? Originally thought that it was in anticipation of the rumored new Shield and Bodyguard 2.0 model that some S&W insiders have been speaking of....but then again, if they flood the market place with the current model would that not hurt sales of a 2.0 model??????
I will purchase the 2.0 Shield if the rumors are true but I kinda feel like a lot will not because they just got one with the rebate.
But then again, as my wife used to say..."What the hell do you know about anything"...??????

I'm kinda thick so help me out. If I'm getting this right, this $319 less the $75 rebate would make a new Shield available for $244 shipped? I don't care a rat's patooty about any of them and even I would take one for that. Note to self....check on this NOW!
