It is not limited to the 15-2, it carries over to the 15-3 also. They just don't know they are not target guns.

If I decide to carry this piece, can it handle +P+ or +p ammo? Would not make a steady diet of them. Will probably use my standard handload of a 148 grain cast lead WC and 3.0 grains of Bullseye.
S&W says +P is OK.
+P+ is undefined.

I have never seen +P+ 38 special. +P's will be fine to shoot.
