S&W Pistol Rebates Coming?

Now that Obama is out of office the firearms manufacturers needed to do something to drum up business. S&W:rebates....SA:extra mags & gear

I know. :o I am running out of it fast. :(

But $75.00 is still $75.00. That would keep me in Depends for over a month! :D

Yep. And $75 is 3+ boxes of 9mm ammo :D

In my case it's a $50 rebate for my new BG .380 :)

This rebate program suckered me in good - 3 Shields & 1 BG later, I am anxiously awaiting the rebates so that I can show my wife I saved money. :) Never mind that I already spent it all again on magazines, holsters, ammo, etc...

Interesting. I just tried it also, and got the same message. There is a phone number for additional assistance:(866) 963-7933.
I'll try it tomorrow.
A guy on another forum says he called them on April 4th, and they told him it would "be several weeks for them to process the rebates".

I posted this in another thread - I went to the Milano site today and entered my phone number, zip code, and last name. It came up "no record". I entered just my zip code and last name, and the rebate submission came up.

That is probably because the online rebate form does not ask for a phone number.

This question may have been posted previous, but: Do we get a check, or credit towards S&W merchandise ?? :)

I tried entering only Zip and last name and it wouldn't find it either :(. making me nervous

I have a lot more serious things to worry about than if S&W is going to send me $75.

Today is all we have, live it to the fullest!

I saw the rebate coupon in the store when I went to pick up my Shield on April 6 after the 10-day wait here in CA. I bought it 2 weeks before the rebate started, so I called them about it. No luck with the rebate on my end..

You picked it up on April 6? I bet they'd change your invoice to show April 6. The Place I bought mine changed the date for me (I bought March 31st before I even knew about the rebate). Since it was shipped to my FFL they changed it to the date I received it.

Thanks for that information. It also worked for me. Shows a valid rebate submission. Milano does not answer phone, only records your message. S&W needs a better rebate processer.

The rebate and a crazy low price at PSA pushed me to buy a BG 380. Maybe for the wife and kids. I love my 9mm Shield. If the BG is as soft shooting as I've heard due to the locked breech, I'm gonna love it too (my Glock 42 is an easy shooting gun and is locked breech too...won 3 GSSF matches with it!).

Has anyone actually gotten the rebate yet. I personally don't like rebates. I would prefer to have a mark down at the register.

When I fill out all the blocks on the Milano enquiry website, all that comes up are my old 2010 S&W rebates.

However, if I only fill in my last name and zip code, then it shows all my current Shield rebates as having been submitted. :D

Just going on your past experiences of how often S&W offers rebates, how likely do you think it might be that they will offer a rebate on their M&P9 models?

I really want one of those more than a Shield and was disappointed that the current rebate doesn't include them.

Thanks~

... We are all jut waiting. Get closer to the time though.

From another thread posted just this morning ...

"For what it's worth ....called the company (Milano) who is managing the S&W rebate program ...called because my electronic filing of 5/4/17 for my MP9 Shield was not showing up on their web site ...the person I spoke to said to check back in a week as they were processing 5/2/17 as we were speaking ..."

I wonder has anyone received a rebate yet?

Just saw an article that May 2017 set a new record for ATF background checks in that month, and that 2017 is on track to be at least the second highest if not the highest year on record for these checks. New record: America arms itself, 'necessary steps to defend selves'

The article suggests that the terrorists are the ones drumming up business for gun makers, but whatever the source I suspect that S&W's reasons behind the current rebate program are more likely to be the balancing of unsold inventory rather than just creating more sales. Still, I was happy to take advantage on a Shield.

Course not.

This place be lit up like a fireworks show when the rebates start hittin the mailboxes:D

My opinion? --0-- Already released the 2.0. Probably not near the inventory like they had for the Shields.
