I'd been out of the revolver game for quite some time now, only recently having gotten into it about a month ago. Let's just hope that that the rest of my months are as good as this one has been

S&W 586 no dash (traded a Glock 43 for it)
S&W 64-6 (gave $275 for it)
S&W 640-1 (traded a Glock 43 for, got other stuff for it as well)

I really enjoy just looking at the craftsmanship and beauty of a revolver. I just wish I had kept some of the ones I sold when I bought my house
Colt MKIII Trooper 357
S&W 586 6" barrel
S&W Model 28
X2 S&W Model 36s (one 1976 and other 1966)
Several Airweight 642s

Traded a Glock 43 for a 586?
Did you wear a mask when you made the deal?

What a GREAT TRADE! Congrats on an excellent month.

In my defense, the Glock 43 had night sites and a streamlight trl-6...but I was giddy as a school girl driving off from that trade

I traded a built AR I had for the S&W 586 6"

Sounds like you need to acquire some more G43's!

Included the one I traded today, I've had a total of 4. All were traded off for something else I wanted more, which was generally worth more than what I had in the Glock 43. Thankfully I only ever bought one new, got as part of the blue label program. The others I got in trades for ARs I had built along with cash or other firearms.

Hopefully I'll be able to find some more prelock Smith's

Well couldn't leave well enough alone, my LGS had 442/642s on sale for $359 plus tax. Picked up a 442 cause I like the look of better

They also had a 64-3 for $499 and a 10-11 for $430. Almost put one on layaway but need to slow down some. So for time being just have the 442 in layaway. But did start trying to work a deal for a trade for a Colt Cobra

Vanilla home built ARs are going for $400 dollars around here.

Yep....your a bandit for sure.

I've been lucky so far selling my built ARs, granted I only use higher end manufacturer parts (ie Spike's, BCM, Ballistic Advantage) but I always seem to find someone who likes the look of my builds and has something I want and can get them to add something as well

Way I look at it, offset the few deals I've had where I shortchanged myself cause I wanted something more than it was actually worth
