I'd love a 45 Colt 625 but I'll be danged if I can find one. Where are they all hiding? There is NO PROBLEM finding a 45 acp version. But why someone would want a 45 acp caliber revolver over the amazing 45 Colt is beyond me.

:( Hope I can find one

I FOUND ONE! :D

Your reasoning for wanting one is the reason they're not for sale. Everybody that buys one keeps it. I may have a few stashed away, and I'm sorry they're not for sale. :D

I recently found my second 625-9 mountain gun.So they are out there. And no mine are not for sale.Good luck on the search.

I purchased a 625 in 45ACP with a 5"bbl and a SS 44 mag cylinder from Brownells and shipped the lot to Andy Horvath at
Diagonal Road Gunshop in LaGrange Ohio and 6 months later...
I have a 625 in 45 long colt!
Highly recommended! :D

Hmmmmmmmmmm

A convertible 625...Interesting idea!!!! What's the price to have the chambers hogged out?

When these first came out in 1997, my LGS had serial number CLT0003 in the case.

I bought it right away and we made the call to get serial number CLT0045. I like serial numbers :)

I have since traded away #3, but I still shoot CLT0045

I know, I will re-shoot the picture after I am settled in the new house

You might check gunwatcher dot com to see if any are listed for sale. I really like the site for checking gun pricing and availability. I don't always find the gun I am looking for but more often I do.
I just checked there for a 625 mountain gun and found 5 guns that had sold. Range pricing from $900 to $1900. None listed for sale right now. Perhaps you could try another model 625 to check. I tried just S&W 625 and nothing came up under that description.

I did that with a 625 snub. I had a 44 mag cylinder and had John Gallagher ream it to 45LC & shorten the 625 forcing cone. It shoot great & looks great.
