Downloaded on my 2009 iMac. No big user interface changes. I like the new photo editing tools. Supposed to be an internal overhaul of the file systems but I wouldn't know. Better video encoding for streaming 4k. Apple is going after those web trackers... "removing the cross‑site tracking data they leave behind. So your browsing stays your business." A lot of other stuff. My iMac seems to run a bit faster with High Sierra.

The anti web tracking enhancement looks interesting. The file system change - no, not interested. I'll have to see if there is a way to skip that. Maybe I'll upgrade in a few months after my class is done, give them some time to fix the worst bugs.

It also shuts-off "auto-play" of videos in Safari, which are really annoying. I hate opening a news story and having a video play first, or at the same time. Now you have to hit the > to make videos play.

I like the larger menus and print on the new IOS 11.0.1 too... new Mac and iPhone... Christmas in Chattanooga! :)

Supposedly only internal SSDs will be converted to the new file system. I'm wondering if the target machine can be put in target disk mode and connected to a 2nd Mac, then install on it treating it as an external drive. The problem with APFS is my other machine running Snow Leopard won't be able to read the drive if it's converted.

I don’t like that “undo” button that appears on the right side of the space bar in 1OS 11. Keeps on wiping out a bunch of typing, leaving me going, “Huh?!”
