You have firearms made in what Countries?

Nobody mentioned Utah, home of Browning; and yeah, I know Utah is supposedly part of the U S A but I have been to Zion Nat'l Park and KNOW it is not from the Conus ! :D

Years ago I owned a "Musgrave" bolt action rifle, made in South Africa. You don't see many around here in the US. One of the few rifles I have sold that I wish I had kept.

I wondered how many would fess up to having Chinese-made firearms. Never had one myself. I was scared off by the "soft steel" claims I have heard over the years. I would love to hear what actual owners / users have to say.

I own a Chineese SKS, and a Norinco bolt action .22 that is a direct copy of the old BRNO rifle. Both have shot many thousands of rounds without fail. No experience, but I have read the Norinco M-14 copies were on the soft side. I know their 1911's have a good reputation as a base gun for customizing.

You know? There is no wrong answer in this thread. No need to justify your preferences.:D

Wasn't a "justification", I've just never owned anything NOT Made in U.S.A. I was brought up with all American made guns and competed with S&W revolvers when shooting PPC competition. Just like anything else, everyone has a preference; that's just mine :D
