Tell me about Hy Hunter Firearms?

On the left side- That almost looks like Elmer - Cigar and Hat.
According to a blurb posted above, it's "Carbine" Williams. On the counter is what looks like a pile of Great Western SA's.

The OP’s gun looks a lot like an RG .22 I had, only the RG had an adjustable rear sight blade. There was a screw you loosened, moved the blade, then tightened.

That Hy Hunter name sounds familiar. My dad always got the Herters magazine , mentioned up there by Dwalt I think. Dad bought his dad a 22 revolver, delivered to the door, a 9 shot DA/SA. It was cool, all black.

So if I came across one of the .357 Atomic's would a .357 magnum be fine to shoot in it? I'm curious and might begin a hunt for one of these on my travels. Thank you,
Richard

"AFAIK, HH was out of the business by the mid 60's.
It was then taken over and run by his Secretary named....Mary Hawes.
A familiar last name..The new imported SA revolvers were named 'Hawes'.
The GCA eventually forced the business under as the cheap handgun imports were banned as well as the Military Surplus in 1968."

Interesting stuff. I have a BP .36 caliber Navy clone that is a "Hawes" import.
