Hope everything goes well for you. I once had a cute young girl contact me on Facebook. She was cute. She even had some suggested picture of her self. Nothing to bad. Just enough to get the imagination going. After about two weeks of chatting with her. She starting asking for money. I didn't fall for it. I spent an entire day blowing HIS operation out of the water!

yes, nice eyes but what about the rest of her? I'm referring to her heart and intentions.
I'd just go slow with both eyes open...

My grandson found a striking Ukranian girl on the web. Went over and married her. He's here and she's still over there. His dad refuses to speak about the whole mess. However sometimes two people meet and really hit it off. Here wishing you the best with your friend, and yes she does have beautiful eyes. Frank

Last time this happened...

...photo was proven to be a fake.

Was there a resolution/explanation given by the ladies who allegedly gave you that photo...your 'friends' from the gym, if i recall correctly?

Be safe.

I will not say anything negative but, instead I will wish you the best of everything. It may very well be just what it seems. I worked with a guy several years ago who had a G/F who was from Honduras. She propositioned him first by sending him a note written in Spanish, he had to have someone translate it gave him a wonderful feeling that she would want him. The big thing was according to what little he told me she never asked anything of him. Again best of luck.

Zoosk member from Texas signed up by friend from CC Texas-and yes im well aware of that too. However, I still have the letters and such postmarked and such-from her address in Espana as absolute proof too. Oh and I forgot, foreign members cannot create an account so someone here HAS to. Anyway, I wish the negative ways would stop, this lady is real and I am NOT--imagining another Harvey.

And you posted on another forum that she is a "local gal"????

So...
What is the REAL story?

Many Spanish people have been confused with Roma [Gypsies]. If I were advising a foreigner to travel here I would advise traveling with a friend as well.
There is an old proverb about entering into a relationship that applies everywhere. "Keep both eyes wide open before marriage and only one eye half open after marriage".
I hope she has a wonderful visit and that you have some good times together.

Thank you, i hope so too. I dont yet know when she is coming? but do know before the end of the year. Ive told her of many great spots to see-as well as eat at, so???? :) Also, when the visit happens? she definitely wants to do a tour of the 5-5 Missions (ala) the Alamo, Goliad etc-because she has read so much about them. So, ill be her host on those with a hopeful visit to San Antonio's River Walk.

I also hope to be about 180 lbs by that tie as ive been losing weight. Not by intent, but naturally happening.

Carl, good luck on this one...but be very, very careful. Getting stuff postmarked from Spain ain't all that hard.

Like I've said many times before, I never trust a beautiful woman...especially if she acts like she's interested in me. I've always found that to be good advice. I've only found one exception to that, and we've been married for 46 years. Of course, your mileage may vary.

Like I said, good luck...but, if I were you, I'd play my cards close to the vest. Real close to the vest.

Heh heh, no worries. There is no romance at least yet. We are simply just pen pals. being a guy, my mind wonders though. I wouldnt be disappointed to end up with her though. The only difference that I know of between our likes-is seafood. She knows im not a fan of 99% of I, but if I HAVE to? ill eat it. If not? id rather have Beef.

It is a sad day for her and her family. I had just got a mail from her that an uncle that lives in California has passed away. :o

I would try hanging out in the country club lounge before I did anything on the internet.

BTJM.

No worries, we are only pen pals. When she gets here-6 month Visa I believe? I dont know how long she will stay? I know she does plan to travel about and see relatives staying here in Country, so I dont have an exclusive hold on her.

Thank you. Someone has tried that with me on Plenty of Fish so that's why i cancelled there. They asked for $3,000 after about 30 emails saying they has a shipment of furniture that was sent by "mistake" to Colorado" and they lived in Kentucky or somewhere? All I said was: "Good luck, bye. All of a sudden, they deleted their email account, and account on PoF.
