Volquartsen Extractor What???

I'm with others..I made the upgrade before I even brought my gun to the range..never had a problem..maybe I never would have had one with the factory part ..but it was an inexpensive part and I'm glad I got it in my gun..peice of mind type of thing I guess

I should have added some additional detail to this thread that I posted in another. I took my new 15-22 to the range with two boxes of Federal bulk ammo (one a few years old I had forgotten I still had and one fresh box). I had major FTE issues. Really disappointing. I took the gun apart and cleaned/lubed it and installed the Volquartsen. Took it back to the range. Zero issues. Was it the cleaning/lubing that fixed the issue or the new extractor? I don't know, but the problems are now history.

Here's a different one. It has clearance in the front so the ejector doesn't move away from the rim when in battery.
Watch the ejector when you have the upper off and lower the bolt slowly
Plus more aggressive angles and way more clearance

S long as you keep the bolt face clean and with the Volquartsen extractor you should have a very reliable firearm. I put one on my Ruger 10/22 and I can't remember when was the last time I had a stovepipe.

I had the same problem. Adjusted the ejector which did nothing. Installed the Volquartsen extractor and haven't had a FTE since.
