Internet rumor was seen tossed about, claiming there's a GP 100 in 10mm, either coming to a LGS near you, or "has been seen".

We know they've tinkered with the loading in a "Buckeye" Blackhawk briefly. But I'm more inclined/interested in a 10 mm Redhawk, maybe with a 3" up to a 6" barrel.

Anyone else know any more info, or be able to squash that rumor? I still haven't fired the GP 44 special, just yet. But if the 10 mm rumor is just that, a rumor, I might try one on for size. But I'm really interested in a 10 mm double action revolver.

Here's a Youtube review of the 10mm GP-100.

Looks like I'm at least a month behind the times. I didnt find the video in my intial search. I see there is a SuperRedhawk version, and so far 4" only in the GP. Jeff is like me, in that he likes everything he shoots. Thanks for getting me back to speed.

They recently started to make the Redhawk in 10mm. We've had several come through the shop. Very nicely done!
This is more of Ruger listening ( to the wants of those who have pleaded with S&W to bring back the 610.)

The gun in the Gunblast video was bored out to 10mm Magnum. It's the first I have heard of that round. I wonder if that gun will shoot a 41 magnum, too.

10 mm fan here, shoot it in a G29. Nice to have a revolver available but personally, not interested at a near $1000 msrp. If I wanted a big 10 mm handgun I would just get a long slide Glock for a lot less money.

Street price looks to be $725 to $750 same as .357 Mag match champion.

This has been out for @ less than 1 year- Ruger GP100 Talo Wiley Clapp edition 3" 10mm revolver.

Been enamored with the 10mm Smith semi auto (10XX series) and revolver (610) for a while now. So much, that I was longing for a shorter barrelled 10mm, and Smith 310 Nightguard came to mind with the 2.5" barrel. However finding these are extremely difficult, if not costly. I was about to pop on one last year with no box/dox for @ $1400.

Ruger came out with the Super Redhawk 10mm in a 6.5" barrel. Great hunting gun, but way too big for my tastes. Then Ruger comes with the smaller version 10mm revolver in a GP100 Match Champion with a 4.2" barrel, and I am digging it. Then I say to myself, "I wish they came out with one in a 3", for a good walking in the woods/serious hiking companion gun"..low and behold they introduce the Talo Wiley Clapp edition GP100 3" 10mm revolver!

These allegedly shoot .40 as well, but I will try both 10mm and .40 and verify reliability on the .40.

Will come back with a range report soon after my business travels, but am super stoked on getting this. I was procrastinating on buying one, and was shopping around for used as some started to become available on GB. Then I noticed, all of the usual suspect places who were selling them started listing them as Sold Out. I panicked and picked one up. I guess all of us Smith 610 guys figured out these are a good alternative!

Range report - both 10mm and . 40 functioned great, with only 1 hiccup on a light primer strike on a. 40.( out of a box of 50).

Tried the 10mm with and w/o the moon clips. No issues, other than had to poke out each empty casing when shot with no moon clip.
