You have to give Uberti credit. They make some nice guns. Very nice.

If Uberti didn't step up to fill Hollywoods need for six guns in the 50's and 60's during Cowboy movies, we might not have ever had the chance to buy all the different six guns ever made. Those crazy Italians gave the world single actions and lever actions, since Colt or Winchester quit doing in the later years.

Beautiful pistols! Have seriously been thinking about ordering one in .44 Special or else .45 Colt. Would be about perfect for just being out and about in the woods and fields. Zeroed at 25-30 yds., it'd be about perfect for game up to and including deer at normal woods ranges. Plus, it'd be simply a joy to behold! Sincerely. bruce.

Thanks for sharing with us. The Italian gun makers may be the only game in town soon, as it appears that Colt is slowly cutting back production, and there is speculation that they will get out of the SAA market altogether. Sad, if true, but some of these imports, like yours are very nice indeed!!

Best Regards, Les

Don't the charcoal blue rub off easily?

That is very true, it is not as durable as a standard bluing. But I already have standard blue versions and wanted something that is out of the ordinary. I do carry these daily on occasion in my gun belts for open carry duty. I don't use them to sand with or as a hammer. I built holsters that are baby soft suede lined and do a pretty good job of protecting the finish. But in the end sometime they will show holster wear just like any other finish does.

How about some pictures of those holsters!!!
