about a month ago I was able to purchase this nice 19-3. No box, gun and stocks only.
These are the stocks that were on it, they're in my extra parts box now.
They're not bad looking, they certainly don't go w/ a nice snubby though.
They convert from R/B to S/B obviously and are really light weight. The wood seems a little soft but not like balsa or something.
I don't recognize the lettering, does anyone here know or recognize this brand of stocks?
Thanks for your help.

I believe the stocks are by F. S. Nill. The company makes high quality stocks for S&Ws and other brands of firearms.

Pretty sure chiefbob and doc44 are correct about them being Nill stocks.
I don't have a set on any of my relovers but have them on my H&K P7 and Sig 220. The Nills are pricy but you couldn't ask for nicer looking or fitting stocks.

Those are nice ... you got a good deal .
I looked at Nill stocks but they were out of my price range .

I have never understood why someone would buy a snub gun, supposedly for concealment, and then slap big honking grips on it. The shape of the butt, not the barrel length (within reason) determines how well a handgun hides. I have round butted several 4" revolvers and they conceal just fine. In fact, the longer barrel, 4" vs 2"-3", pushes against the hip, which in turn serves to hide the handgun.

I hope your replacement grips fit you well, as well as help you conceal your revolver, if you intend to carry it.

I've not seen Karl Nill grips with that logo.

My J-frame round butts have "Kn" etched in the bottom side of the butt, and that's the same logo I've seen on all Karl Nill grips with the logo. (Not all frame sizes have the logo etched on them.)

Because some of us have "big honking" hands that need to be filled up. :D:D

Thanks to all who responded...

I've been looking at Karl Nills' web site and I don't see any of their stocks w/ a logo stamped into them like my example. That said I still do not know.
I usually try to have my revolvers dressed w/ period correct stocks, on the RB frame I also like Tyler T grip adapters.
I'll hang onto these stocks to see if I can satisfy my curiosity at some point.
This thread was initially started more about the stocks than the revolver.
Thanks again.
Mike

KSD grips, a Turkish outfit.

Winner, winner - chicken dinner.

Nills knock-offs. Really very nice grips for a fraction of the Nills price.

Adios,

Yes those grips are 100 percent KSD grips. Just sold 2 sets for 30 and 40 bucks. They look very similar to Nill grips but no where near fit and quality of Nill grips.

Thanks all, I believe the mystery has been solved.
Someone above mentioned putting them on a 617, I did and they look good. It's a newer one so the rubber grips that were original are now in storage.
Thanks again, I knew I could count on you folks!!
