I'm glad that I don't have a knife addiction. I understand the channel locks. I carry this 4"adjustable everyday. It has saved the day more than once.
I'm 66 and never have known anyone that carried Channellocks in their pants on a daily basis. You're either weird or I never got out too much, maybe both, IDK.
Give it a few years. You’ll figure it out. Unless you decide you would rather carry a 4” Vise-Grip instead. Seriously, there are guys who do it. Too heavy and lumpy for me. Just about any knife, any flashlight and certainly any gun makes a bigger lump in the pocket than the little Channellocks.
Maybe weird, or maybe just ahead of the curve. ;-{>
There is a funny thread on Bladeforums right now where all these devices are being discussed, including the 4” adjustable wrench, the Sears 4-way screwdriver and the venerable P38 can opener.

Can you tell me what model the knife is at the top right of the second pic ?
OK... I am absolutely a gun guy. I have a knife that I keep with me. But if I lose it as I do occasionally I replace it with a new knife. At most (now) I think I have 4 knives. So my gun accumulation out numbers my knife accumulation by a factor of 50-80 plus. That makes me a knife novice or just a hack although they have served me through Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts , The US Army and civilian adult life into my 60s. So it is not that I do not us them or now how to use them. So here is my "newbie" / uneducated question about knife brands. What is up / wrong with a Kershaw knife? I never see anyone have one in their "collection". That tells me I am missing out on something either political or I am just in the cheap seats like a Taurus handgun on a SW revolver thread. I have a Chive and an Onion. Both seem to work fine for my needs. What am I missing...?
Japanese company making knives in the USA with Swedish steel?
USA company making knives in Taiwan with USA made steel?
USA company making knives in the US with imported materials?
German company makes a USA designed knife out of Swedish steel and US made carbon fiber scales. It's assembled and packaged who knows where?
USA made is honorable and desirable, but many times these days it is nothing but a marketing ploy. If a USA manufacturer makes a good product I will have a bias towards it. If they put out junk, I call it junk even if it was 100% USA made junk.
