I've got this one too, it's not quite a snubby, which is why I did not put into my original post. This is a commercial 1917 in .45ACP with the barrel snipped to 4". I imagine some old time copper must have really known what he wanted and had this gun cut down from the original 5.5":

325 NG in .45acp. One pound less than a 1911. Launches same bullets.
This is a thread I can really relate to. I can't explain what it is that draws me to them, but I must have them, ALL.
A few photos, not nearly as nice as some of you have posted. First, my display in Charlotte in 2017, next my UDR's. the rest are in no particular order.
