John & Jennifer have been busy as of late with all the new grips I've seen around the forum. I'd just got my hands on my first set of Culina's combats a few weeks ago when I got a long awaited email from Jennifer last week asking me which set of stabilized maple burl combats I wanted! Woo-hoo! I hadn't even had my coffee yet and had to choose between gorgeous grips a or b.
I made my decision and got on the horn with Jennifer. What a sweetheart too! It was like talking to an old friend. We exchanged info and in a few days they were in my mailbox.
Now I just had to do a little swapping around since I'd just put the goncalo alves combats on my 29-3. I tried the new set on a stainless gun and knew they deserved a blued gun. So now the g.a. grips reside on my 3" 629-6 (and look pretty sharp) and the maples on the 29-3.
Enough lip flappin. Here they are. Thanks for looking y'all.
And this is where the goncalo alves combats are going to ride (for now anyways). Excuse the dirty gun. It just got some range time recently.
