Just added the Talon grip to my Shield. Like the new grip texture and it only took a few minutes to install. Per directions have heated with a hair dryer 2 or 3 times so it should be finished. Looks factory original and it is the rubber type grip but is still better than the original. Feels good in the hand. Guess I need a new holster so that I can fit it into my CCW rotation with my Sig 365 and 238. Mostly depending on where I'm going and what I'm wearing.

Same here, have the rubber talon grips on my shield. They have held up very well over the past few years.

Same here, the Talons are holding up nicely. I've had them on for 3 years now.

I found the stock Shield grip twisted in my hand with every shot, making follow up shots more time consuming. Installed the Hogue sleeve, and it stopped moving around in my hand. Much happier now with the performance.

Mine's a 2.0, but added a Pachmayr grip sleeve 1 1/2 years ago and it solved the twisting issue.

Put the Talon grips on 3 Shields, maybe 4, I can't remember. But they all work great.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

I have a Shield "1.0" on order from Cabela's. If I decide on one of the wrap type grips, does that screw up the holster fit?

Nope not with talon grips and plenty of folks have used hogue grips as well.

I also like the Talon Grip Tape !
For holsters the Alien Gear with swap able shells works great if you have several different guns ! They come in IWB or OWB and have a 2 fer deal :) SO for around 70$ 2 nice holsters !
I have their IWB and OWB plus a few shells for several years

A low price IWB Kydex
For my most used daily I love my Jel Techs as well

Grip and holster

I installed talon tape that I cut to fit about 6 months ago and really like it. Not perfect cutting but has stayed on very securely. I used a hole punch to make a dot for mag release which helps me feel it better. Looks funky but I did 3 more for my thumb to improve feel for me.

I also bought a sticky holster which I really like the feel and function of. It sticks inside my waist and holds great when I pull the shield out every time. It's the Md.4 size.

I too added a Hogue sleeve; I prefer the extra thickness it gives. Actually added one to my Victory as well.

I have a 1.0 and put a granular one on it first. I didn't like it. When it wore out, I stalled the rubber one. Much better and has done really well. I have another in reserve for when it wears out. Great folks to deal with in Steamboat CO.

Like all the mods. I stippled my grip on my 1.0. Works well and feels about like the 2.0.
Well I just realized I posted a pic earlier in this post.
