Seiko Turtle Diver's Save the Ocean blue.
This is my third Seiko Diver's but my first of the Prospex line, the ones I previously had where the SKXs.
I like how the color matches the Blue Kentucky Wildcats.

Yes, I know, TAG is for Techniques d'Avant-Garde, as produced by the company founded by Edouard Heuer. But since most folks don't know that Heuer is actually pronounced "HOY-Yeah", it is easier to refer to it as a Tag.

I do know how to pronounce Heuer. both from before Tag was involved. The one from the right I bought new back in the day.

A bit off topic but learned a neat trick.

I've got a Seiko solar watch that after 6 years started to loose time badly......took it in to see if I could get a new battery...... no go ..... has to go back to Seiko. New they are $600 from Japan...trip to Seiko $116.

But first told to try this trick....... stop the watch and sit it on the windowsill for a couple of days....... I let it sit for a week, as my "Burb of the Burgh" isn't famous for it's winter sunshine.

Thinking back the watch was left in my "going to the lake" bag for a week....probably drained most of the charge and couldn't catch up while the watch was running....................

Started it back up last Saturday ....... doing fine...... when I'm not wearing it, it sits on the windowsill

My Timex Expedition I bought for work in the mid-90's, and my dad's Bulova wind up from the 1950's are more accurate than my Omega Seamaster??

I've lately come to the sad realization that mechanical Swiss watches are basically a piece of jewelry....not a timepiece.

My everyday watch for the last 30 years has been a Seiko automatic dive watch..... I picked up the solar on a lark in 2014 off of Amazon for $250 or so. I like the automatics but they do lose or gain time.....mine loses about 2 minutes a week so twice a month I set it 2minutes ahead so I'm always + or - 2minutes or less.

Don't you have any "vintage" watch stores anymore? I mean "real stores" not "online vendors". Around here there are still few and they provide service for most vintage mechanical watches.
