Supreme Court declines to hear Second Amendment cases

Bummer

On the other hand, you need to be careful for what you ask for because you just might get it.

I am signing off from this stuff till something else happens.

I was very disappointed with the SC’s refusal to hear even one case of ten. Their refusal to hear a case is a de facto ruling that the States have the right to regulate the 2A as they see fit. This will only embolden the Left.
Absolutely it will. :( But, given the direction the current SCOTUS is taking on a number of issues, do we really want them to make a decision on a vital 2A issue?

You are correct; now may not be the right moment. I’ve read accounts that claim Gorsuch and Alito voted not to hear these cases due to uncertainty of Roberts position on the issues.
This may be wishful thinking on the part of the account writer, however.

I dunno, from what I have heard from people who analyze the SCOTUS and their decisions, that may be the truth.

Oh, I think it is the truth. Roberts has proven over and over again that he can't be trusted. Lots of speculation why, but nothing we can do about it until the Notorious RBG checks out.

I honestly do not think she will ever check out.

I believe that Roberts is a weak leader and is swayed by the last Justice he talks to.

RBG has stated she has no intention of ever stepping down from the bench.

......... Or at least until a “D” President and Senate are elected.

Bingo! As long as one or both are retained by the R-team, she will cling to her appointment.
