Okay guys... I get it.... we've got a lot going on as a country and as individuals.... political things, economy struggling, 401's struggling, personal things.... our patience runs short and everyone's fuse is about to blow.
But we are a civil society and we LIVE IN THE BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, don't ever forget that!!! Take it from a guy who left his birth country to live here, to become an American citizen and to live the American dream!!! I am a free man!!!
We are able to agree to disagree, this is what makes it so great and diverse. Different people, different backgrounds, upbringing, experience, knowledge, etc.
But there's a few things that we all share. Our love for this Great Country and our love for guns and the shooting sport.
I saw a lot of Nazi history when I grew up there, it's everywhere if you know where to look. When I was in the service our P38 pistols still had the Hakenkreuz engraved on the frame, it was just scratched out. We laughed and thought it was funny... these guns still work... it didn't make us Nazi supporters.
I don't have a need or reason to collect Nazi memorabilia unless it would have been handed down to me by my grand fathers. Both of them served in WWII and they did not bring home any "souveniers" for I am glad they came home alive and in one piece!
If someone collects Nazi memorabilia then look at it from a collectors standpoint. That doesn't mean the collector automatically supports the Third Reich.
Instead of getting offended Dougaz why don't you ask for the reason why he's collecting it? That would help you understand. And again, if you still don't agree we all can at least agree to disagree.
On the same token, you (Dougaz) said you are offended but you did not demand the deletion or the locking of this thread. So you don't fall into that category of people that demand change because their feelings are hurt. That's good.
Come on guys.... not worth it. We all collect something.... that doesn't make us better or worse that the person next to us
