I added $206.00 to my $600.00 stimulus money and put 4 new ties on my car today.I got the stimulus money yesterday in my account.Guess I should say thanks to the U.S.Government.

While I am not gonna turn it down, and I recognize my (and other taxpayers') taxes paid or will pay for this, it does seem kinda nuts to me that the payments are given to everyone regardless of need.
Read an article yesterday stating the the overall national savings rate in 2020 is at about 30%, up from 7% in 2019, due to the pandemic. (Less opportunities to spend.) I think much of the country simply puts these disbursements into savings. Meanwhile, per the news, the less fortunate are lining up to receive food.

Sometimes that education can be a hindrance, way to many people with art history and gender studies degrees refusing to take jobs they believe is beneath them.
