OK, a sheet of utility grade 1/4" plywood, a 100 round box of Mini Mags and two rolls of Charmin to fill up my Trailblazer and my Mitsubishi. Does that sound about right? ;)

Depends on where you are. Folks out here don't know about gas lines. They do know about the plywood though.

Like my header says, Central VA. As of today, we are having long gas lines and closed stations. But don't worry, the government says everything is under control and gas supplies will be back to normal by the weekend.

Anybody wanna buy my beachfront timeshare in Tulsa?

If you had any petrol you could picket the WH. :D

Got my fuel yesterday, when it was only semi-crazy. The long lines at the pumps reminded me of the gas rationing days of 1973. The older I get the more stupid people seem to be getting.

A tanker of gasoline driven from Vancouver WA to Seattle will be worth 8K more. So why aren't they? The fix is in.

25% of tanker trucks were idle BEFORE the current "shortage". A lot of truckers decided to retire when CoVid hit, and no one has stepped in to replace them.

With the nice weather here, I was planning on a trip to the range this weekend. With so many gas stations now out of gas, my plans are cancelled. It's more important for me to have gas in my vehicle so that I can get to work. Life here in Virginia ain't all that grand these days.

I have/had plans to drive up to Winchester, VA for a North-South Skirmish event, the first since the WuFlu restrictions have loosened. I've got enough gas to get up there but I'm wondering about getting back! I'll have to contact friends in the Shenandoah Valley and see what their gas situation looks like.

Looks like I missed my chance... the pipeline is reopening now that they've gotten the prices jacked up another $.20/gal. I was hoping to swap 25 gallons of gas for a Triple Lock Target in 44 Spl. Oh well!
