Traded into a 624 no dash last weekend

Traded into a pretty clean 624 no dash last weekend.
I had my trade piece priced at $950 (a clean 28-2 shooter with smooth magnas).
We traded straight across, and I think I traded up.
What says the forum?

The prices on 624s have gone crazy over the last few years, even the 6 1/2"ers which seem to be the least desirable of the three barrel lengths. But, so have 28-2s. I'd say you came out even Steven. I paid around the 6-$700 range on my 624 and HP several years ago. You should have a blast with your new six shooter at the range. I do!

I have the 624, no dash, 4"... easy shooting and very accurate.



And it makes a real good field gun!!!

Here's mine - it was actually a 6" but I found a 3" barrel on eBay.

The stocks came from eBay as well - they were apparently handmade - wish I could find more because they fit my hand perfectly!

Someone did that to mine.. it surely wasn't a 3" 629-1 to being with.



But I can use .44 Specials or Magnums (I much prefer Specials!!!)
