1992 Colt Anaconda: Unnecessary pawn shop buy

I went into the shop to look at a Colt 1911 in .38 Super that had recently been listed on the shop's website with a terrible picture. The gun actually matched the pic, and was gooey to boot. Also in the case was this Anaconda, which wasn't listed on the site, apparently because it had been in and out of layaway for the last 2 1/2 years. Traded a SIG 1911 that I'd been carrying around for some time and some cash. I had no intention of leaving the shop with anything until they knocked $300 off the marked price. Never even imagined picking up an Anaconda at all.

Obviously needs a cleaning, on the schedule for tonight.anaconda R.jpg

Update: After a lot of cleaning and filling the two screw holes that someone had drilled in the top strap then blasting the top strap to put a matte finish back on it.
