I got an email from Green Top letting me know they have Bullseye at 29.99/pound. I just bought CFE Pistol so I'll pass.

I have pictures of old cans of powder with low prices but I don't post them, since it is in the past and I don't like to make people feel bad, intodays times, having to pay the now, going prices.

I just hope in two years we will get a better deal on components.

Sure glad that I also like to fish !!

I'm really looking forward to buying up all the components the newbies and panic-buyers are hoarding today and will put in the back of the closet when 9mm drops under $18/box again. I give it two years. :-)

After the last powder shortage, once powder became available at regular prices-I stocked up! I'll never need to buy powder again. I'll probably need to leave it to a buddy in my will. :-)

I store my powder in a non-climate controlled garage. I'm a little worried about storing too much powder. I have had old powder loose some of it's "oomph" in the past. At least according to my chornograph.

Climate control didn't exist when powders like Bullseye were introduced. I grew up in the south and air conditioning wasn't common when I was a kid in the 40's and 50's. My parents didn't get AC until the mid 60's and until I went to college I never went to a school that had AC.

All my components and equipment are in climate controlled house/room. Stored in original containers. I only have 3 open containers right now; Bullseye, TiteGroup and Red Dot. :)

I guess the good old days are gone:

The days when they were using that old cardboard canister have been gone for a couple of decades! Of course I still have one or two of them and even one or two of the square metal cans... I just don't want to look at the price tags!

Froggie

You mean like these? All are full.

Dreamer! Not happening in the next four years. Haven't you heard the news?

Every time we have these shortages the prices never return to where they were before the shortage. We'll be lucky to see $25/box.

Do you realize that it costs about 0.15-.20/rd to reload 9mm now if you buy bullets? Do you think those prices will drop?

I know. Somebody will jump in here with wheel weights are free and I cast my own bullets, but honestly, how many people butcher their own chickens.

The wholesale cost of ammo will always be twice the cost to reload it.
