Ridiculous response from S&W on Shield Plus mags

If you simply must have extra magazines right now, sell the S&W and use your P365XL or Hellcat. Complaining about the tone of a Customer Service response is not going to change anything.

The tone of S&W customer service has been erratic - anything from perfect to insulting - for as long as I can remember, and I can remember a L O N G time. :D I doubt much will ever change it. If a bit more flowery “bla-bla-bla” response would have made you happier, I’m sorry you didn’t get it, but the bottom line is you’re going to have to wait. For me, I’m not into that kind of thing. S&W’s response merely indicated they were not selling the magazines directly to consumers at that time.

Hey, be happy that you’ve got other guns to play around with until you can get enough Shield mags to keep you happy. The 365/365XL is a great little gun. :)

If I remember correctly (which I damn well do) S&W pitched the Shield Plus as having many accessories immediately available. Magazines are accessories and an integral part of the firearm needed for correct functioning. Spare parts and magazines are required to keep a firearm functioning as designed, so I see the response
"These magazines are currently not set up for individual sale" as about a genuine as Biden staying Al Qaeda is no longer in Afghanistan.

Somehow some gougers are able to get extra magazines AND other manufacturers are not using these types of excuses for magazines.

Ya'll want to be apologists for S&W, you do you.

I does matter to me, if a firearm manufacturer that I purchase guns from can supply parts or are simply going to make excuses.

I will continue to use my Hellcat and Springfield or others maybe higher on my list for future purchases considering the ***** S&W thinks is acceptable for a consumer

If you don't like their products or their customer service, move on. The world doesn't revolve around you, Karen.

S&W isn't the only game in town. Lets see, there's Ruger, Sig, Glock, H&K, Springfield, CZ, Walther, Colt, to name a few.

Agreed and that’s my plan. They lost a customer who has made multiple purchases. Like you said, there are many other choices that I can make as a consumer. 👍

This is the kind of fanboy logic and insults that have no place. We get it. You love S&W, and they can do no wrong, and anyone with legitimate criticism should just suck it up and rub some dirt in it. Right? 🙄

Of course I'm sure about it  , If they have them, they got them after I committed to buying Para mags.

Anyway, I checked today and their links to many of their OEM mags give me a 404 (page not found) error.

I'm sorry for late response.
This magazine (SKU OEMP164015B-0) has been on stock for a long time, and it is still available.
I'm visiting this website very often and never seen "404" error checking this mag.

Anyway, if you are still interested, this is a direct link to it:

I know Mec-Gar makes magazines for many other manufacturers. Sig used to be one of them. Are those guns not able to get magazines out?

If anyone thinks a magazine shortage is something to have a meltdown over, just wait a few more years. At that point you may actually have something legit to complain about.

Follow the bucks, you put out a popular firearm, you hold back the extra magazines except for a trickle, create a market scarcity, and make more selling fewer magazines. Ask Walther about 22 LR PK/S magazines and how that is working for them. I have a few guns were the extra magazines cost more than the gun. As for current S&W customer service, if you call again you might want to ask if there are any adults that you can talk to.
