What Did I See? M&P Full Size 40 FDE MOS

I saw a FDE Full Size M&P 40 with a MOS sight & flashlight in the case at my LGS.
I didn't handle it & could have been 4 1/2" - 5" barrel
Did S&W Offer these Factory with the MOS sight or was it possibly used & had the slide cut?
Going back to have a look this week as I'm taking a LH IWB Glock Holster to the owner for another customer of his.
It looked brand new BUT?
Something like the photo below

MOS? Ok that's a Glock term, and since you have a Glock we'll forgive you. Smith uses the term CORE for it's optics ready guns. They normally have tall cowitness sights already installed.

And by flashlight do you mean a small handheld light or an included weapon mounted light?

What make/type of gun is that in your 3rd pic? I don't recall ever seeing one like that before.

Is the loaded chamber indicator long and pops up so you can't cut the slide for an optic? S&W needs to stop that nonsense

Ruger Nut that's a S&W SD9 Just Like the one you have except it's FDE

The M&P FDE I saw had the loaded chamber indicator & when the slide was cut, they cut the indicator too to match minus a hair
After seeing what was done etc. I opted to not even hold the piece
The work was good & probably cost a lot + the optic & light
It will be there next trip in. Nobody has $500 now days

This is at my Honey Hole where I have bought my last 5-6 handguns, The gun case is all but stripped clean after the buying craziness that went on a while back but there are many new guns getting sold or pawned lately & most are NEW with zero wear

I have a few things to do tomorrow & one is to get with the doctors where my Buddy Steve is who has no family & make sure He is getting good care & get power of attorney over him
He's a Vietnam Vet & is in bad shape, The nursing home where He was at let him get huge bedsores on his bottom & heal & let his health decline almost to death + He hasn't eaten in over 90 days & lost 50-60 pounds & is skin & bones except for his belly

Need to also go pay the 2nd half of last year's house taxes which will be another grand at the courthouse

I have a holster I got as a Christmas Gift for a G17/G22 & I have a G19X so want to trade & upgrade it to one for my Glock 19X, SD9 or M&P Shield 2.0

Also supposed to have my dog groomed & two other dogs nails clipped
