Like the title says, if you normally carry something bigger than a 9mm/357 what caliber is it?

Definitions:

"Big bore" - .40 caliber and up
"Regularly carry" - Something you carry often in your regular life, not the 500 S&W you bought for a once in a lifetime fishing trip to Alaska. Or the 44 Magnum you only carry while hunting.

I don't regularly carry anything larger than 9mm so I have no dog in this fight. I do have a 44 Magnum but never carry it in town.

Was an Officers ACP.

The high capacity 9mm micro's finally gave me a good enough reason to replace it in the role, first with a Hellcat, which in turn has been replaced by a Shield Plus.

I carry a Glock 20 frequently in the colder months. It's reassuring to have 15 rounds of 10mm...

At home and around town:

Primary Carry:45acp Metaloyed Kimber Raptor or Safari Arms Matchmaster.
Backup Gun:45acp Metaloyed Kimber Ultra Raptor or Colt Officers
Trunk Rifle in steel vault welded to bed of vehicle: Aero 223 Wylde AR Pistol with 10.5" bbl loaded with 5.56 frangible, spare mags loaded with 77gr JHP IMI

While on my 300 acre property:

2.5" Ruger Alaskan in 454 loaded with Cor-Bon heavy 45LC bear loads with 2 speed loaders 1 carrying 454 FMJ the other 454 JHP.
Rifle: Big Horn 454 lever action.

Unsurprisingly, .45 ACP is leading the poll by a wide margin, but for me it's .40 S&W all the way.

In warm weather I carry a Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P40 Shield 1.0 and in cold weather I carry a Smith & Wesson Sigma SW40VE.

I have four.
Two five-shot 44 specials, a CA Bulldog that I carry the most, and a Rossi 720 44 special that I occasionally carry.
The third is a Rossi five-shot 44 magnum that I also have carried on occasion.
Lastly I have a 10+1 shot Taurus PT145 that is a pretty good carry.
So with 2 of 4 being 44 special, that's my vote.
