The "Bowl".....Rams...

I gotta go with the Rams just because of Matty Staff. As a long-suffering Lions fan I’m delighted he was able to escape the Detroit tar-pit he was mired in and make it to the big game.

Also - we get it. Some of you don’t like football. Be nice, some of us do. We try not to rag on your Downton Abbey threads.

This is my late brother, Dave. He was a season ticket holder for well over twenty year. He was a pregame tail gater at both home and away games.

The polo shirt was his lucky Bengals shirt and he wore it only at games. A neighbor and fellow long time season ticket holder who sat with Dave is going to the SB. He is going to wear Dave's lucky shirt. He told me and my mom to look for a guy in the stands wearing orange.

To repeat: WHO DEYl

My work buddy was jaw-dropped when I told him that I would miss the game because I would be outta state and in the mountains. But we got an early start on the return trip and I’ll definitely have it on the TV while life goes on around it. I’ll probably enjoy whatever of it I do watch.

In years past, we ALWAYS had this day earmarked for a trip to the indoor range because it always seemed like most others had plans at home or for parties, making the range less traveled.

Lotsa people always talk about the commercials. Well, I do also. Since the ad time is so freakishly expensive, I would like to THINK that we see the agencies most creative work. Sometimes they deliver.

Many times I’m left shaking my head. I mean we can all agree that many TV commercials are horrendous — I just don’t much expect them when running one is at absolute top-market price. And yet they do!

No matter how bad your day is going, no matter how bad your team is loosing, just think-it could be worse.
You could be Jarred Goff sitting alone on his couch watching the game and knowing that he will NEVER experience another Super Bowl again 'cause he is playing for the Detroit Lions.

Gotta go with the Tigers and Joe!
