After looking for reasonably priced 3" K frames to add to my 3" 547 for awhile, I stumbled on several.

A Model 65 LadySmith is on its way and two, a Model 64 and a nickel Model 10 are in MD's seven day wait jail.

While not as sexy as a 3" M66 or M19, the fixed sight 3"ers feel great in the hand and look great to me. I find it interesting that the fixed sight 3"ers look and handle like smaller guns than my 2 1/2" M19s or M66.

Some photos, from jail or from the seller for the M65.

Nice grabs, JP!
I only have one 3", of any stripe. This 65-3 shoots better groups than any of my other .357's.

My two recent 3" K Frame acquisitions came very much unexpectedly but very much appreciated… an uncommon Turkish Police M10-9 with no import marks and a later production 547. Both in excellent condition notwithstanding the smudge marks.

Can a s—tbag read "LadySmith" if he's looking down a .357" hole?

ETA: And note Bigdog357's post. His screen name ain't Bigbitch357!

Lol, I have never minded the Lady Smith monicker on this gun, its a sweet shooter and a great carry gun.

I always say its my lady with attitude, spittin fire with 357 Hollow points.

The best part is that it was originally my mothers gun and I am proud to own it.

She was sick and knew time was short so about a year before she passed she gave her diamond rings to my sisters and pulled me aside and gave this to me.

I sent my 3 inch 65 to S&W for the "Combat Revolver package". This was about 15 years ago. It cost $250. Package is still offered at $270. Highly recommend. Fit trigger stop, chamfer charge holes, action job and bead blast gun. I later polished sides of hammer and trigger and the screw heads. Had a red ramp sight done by LaRocca Gun Works. Great carry gun.
I wish back in the day I had picked up a Lady Smith because I love the look of the shrouded ejector rod.

Glad you enjoyed my joshing Bald1.

And the history of your 65 LS is fantastic. Sorry for your loss though.

I have a thing for three inch revolvers, own something like a dozen. As far as Smiths are concerned I have SB Model 10 from the sixties, a RB 64 and and RB 65, plus a three inch SB 36.
