Hmmmm. Another good guy with a gun stops crime.

I just saw this on YouTube prior to seeing this thread. On the YouTube account, this video was shown during the local newscast, which of course included their report. If they reported accurately, the shooter was the 80yr.-old owner of the store, not a clerk. He had an apparent minor heart attack awhile afterward due to the stress of the incident, but was recovering in the hospital and told the news station he would be available for an interview later in the week after his release.

Hope the additional information helps somewhat.

Regards,
Andy

I trust all of you guys have followed what happened in Brazil recently. The government gave good citizens the right to carry. Crime dropped by 30% in the first month, or at least this is what I read. Up here in Canada, our looney left liberal government, ignoring all the facts and evidence, is instituting more restrictive and idiotic anti-gun legislation. Truly, the inmates are running the asylum!

I love stories w happy endings , although I do need to know the details of event. What kinda shotgun , what was the load , how much damage did the bad guy receive , etc.

Not sure this relevant to the question, news story reported the perp that was shot was in critical but stable condition. My guess 00-8pellet. Hopefully these details will become available.

Here's the thing with the propaganda we get fed: They will tell you that armed citizens almost never stop or prevent crimes, but listen closely -- the crimes they are referring to are MASS KILLINGS, not mass shootings where no one died, not situations where maybe one person died, not any other violent crime -- but MASS KILLINGS, defined by the FBI as incidents when 3 or more people are killed. Armed citizens have rarely stopped MASS KILLINGS -- but they stop hundreds, if not thousands, of other violent crimes every single day in this country.

I guess their message is that the lives of only one or a few of us at a time don't really matter...

This worked out well. May be some profanity. I don't know, the screaming is kinda hard to understand.

No profanity, oddly enough. The bad guy tells the store owner to show his hands, then is screaming that "he shot my arm off".

I gotta tell ya, as much as I liked the new Top Gun movie, this video was more satisfying! :)

He wasn't such a bad*** after getting an attitude adjustment. Whoda thunk?

Yeah, big bad gangsta, with his ninja outfit and his AR...and he and his buddies ran like little girls who've just seen a mouse. Sterling examples of masculinity, eh?

When they all land in the hoosegow, I wonder what the other inmates are going to think of them? Hmmm...getting his arm shot off might be the least of his worries...
