That's definitely a wicked looking round! What's launching it and what's your load? That cast bullet company is a good one - I've done considerable business with them. I've been very satisfied with their products and order from them when I get too lazy to cast my own bullets.

Happy to hear that someone else has done business with, and used, Matts Bullets. Id not heard of him until recently but I like the fact that he has 44spl specific bullets along with 44mag specific bullets AND he casts some that most others dont offer, not that there is a single thing wrong with the stand-bys, they work and work well but a little variety never hurt anyone.

Launcher is my 696 with its newly honed throats by DougGuy over at castboolits, hes good, and fast. Reasonable to boot. The finish of the throats is spectacular. He sent me a note that my 696 cylinder is the hardest he has ever encountered and he has hone thousands of cylinders. Said he did two 6 shot 45 cylinders in the time it took him to do my 5 shot. Wonder whats up with that?
Yeah, I immediately broke out my 44 cylinder flex hone to clean them up a bit but after the borescope revealed to beautifully honed surface of the throats I put the flex hone away, not needed. I have a feeling Im going to be sending him another or 3 to do for me.

Anywho, from Matts I ordered the 250gr round HP's and some 250gr RN, Lyman 429251 @ .432" for my Redhawk and Henry BB. I am really intrigued by the HBWC Matt is selling, WOW!!, what a hole in that thing. Its a 215gr boolit that he says will work for mag or spl. We'll see.

On the site he lists them as .430 and I didn't see any way to order any other size. Are you able to special order them to different sizes? I'd like .431 for my 24-3.
