My perspective on the younger generation is based on my son's friends... he was an Eagle Scout attended a Jesuit college prep high school and is in his final semester of graduate school studying Aero Space Engineering... so most of his friends have been great, patriotic, hard working and kind. Some are engineers, accountants, welders, respiratory therapists, security guards, retail and students. Just remember, they will only show the ridiculous people.. interviewing knowledgeable people won't be entertaining. Is the current state of our educational system worrisome, oh yes, but the key word is "our"... volunteer with kids if you want it to be different.. youth groups of all kinds are looking for help... do something or do nothing, your choice.
