Picked up an MKE AP5P yesterday. Always wanted an MP5 variant/clone. We used them at work years ago and they were always fun to shoot, but eventually they were all replaced by ARs.

Only fired ~100 rnds so far, but not a single hiccup, and impressively quiet through the can with 147s. Probably going to have to SBR this one.

Might as well go with 2 stamps.

Had my SP5K since June, it's never let me down with any 9mm ammo so far. The 147's are a must for quietness thou.

I just bought a junior colt .mint condition with box also mint. cute little thing.

I attended the big gun show in Phoenix over the weekend. While there was much more I could have purchased...money is finite...I did find these two. The first is a Colt 3-5-7...pretty rare in nickel plated. The other is one of my minor bucket list items...a Coonan .357 Magnum pistol with all the goodies.

Pure impulse buys. I saw this Salsismaz 2000, 9mm in the case at the LGS and liked the way it felt, and the price so I picked it up.

While I was looking, my wife called me to the other end of the counter. "What's that?" she asked. "That" was a Heritage Rough Rider, 22, I think it's called the storekeeper or something like that. Short barrel, and fake pearl birdshead grips. "I like that." she told me. Yea...Yea...whatever.

I did the paperwork, told her we'd go to lunch while we waited for the BGC. She started for the car. I told the guy to pull one of those HRR's and add it to the list. I didn't tell her about it until later when after I picked them up. She was tickled.

She might never shoot it, but who cares? It didn't cost much, and doesn't eat anything.

Now that's true romance! (I wish my wife was that easy to please. Lol).

S&W Model 18-2.

MD's seven day wait is up and I'll pick it up this evening!

Got my revolver yesterday! 4th edition says 1962.

Working a swap for some diamond magnas.

Ho, ho, ho,....the making tax has been paid! An AP5, a license built version of the H&K MP5, made in Turkey by MKE on machinery provided by H&K.

How does it shoot? When I first arrived in Afghanistan as a police advisor in 2004, they didn't have enough M4s and Beretta 92s for everyone & I was issued one of those. I was told by the armorer to shoot it as soon as I could, as half of the ones that my company had wouldn't function correctly. Luckily, mine was a good one. I was very happy when I was issued a Beretta and a Bushmaster M4.
