Won this nice Colt OP 2" last week on GB, a nice Birth year Colt.

That looks like it's possibly NIB...is it? Did you get the box and papers with it?
A very nice OP. What year? Colt stopped production of the OP in 1969. I have a 1956 Colt Official Police 4". Quality, old school workmanship! Shown with my nickel Model 10. Carried revolvers as a LEO so partial to the Colt and S&W .38 specials.
Now that is quite the prize.
Very little use, a shooter and it holds SIX !!
How sweet it is.
A great addition to your collection, weather you make it a shooter or a safe queen.
Mostly a safe queen, almost to pretty to shoot many rounds through.
I had a modest collection of OP revolvers but never managed to find a decent 2" let alone one as fine as yours. Thanks for posting it. The Lawrence holster on the left is stamped 38. O.P. 2

Colt Letter shipping date is July 29, 1960. Shipped to Montgomery Ward & Company- 5701 West Courtland Street, Chicago, Illinois in a 1-gun shipment.
That nickel Model 10 is really sweet, I didn't like nickel guns when I was younger, now I like them more then blue.
The 4" OP is without a doubt one of my favorite revolvers, the feel of that revolver in the hand to me is just about perfect.
