CCI, Federal, Winchester, and Remington SPP all in stock? Wow. Prices are still up but those Winchesters at $77 with free shipping is the best deal for sure. Odd the variations in price between brands.

Thanks for the heads up. 👍 In hated to order, but at $77 for a thousand Winchester SP and free shipping, I did.
Even with HazMat I can't buy them around here for that.

I just put in an order to TargetSports for small pistol primers from CCI EXCELLENT company to deal with, good communication and fast shipping.I have bought a good number of .22 LR ammo from them and have found them to be very reliable.
This is the first time I have seen a variety of primers for sale.

I've been buying cases of CCI SV from Target Sports for years. Prices are good, maybe the best, and they ship fast without problems. I can't imagine why others like to seek out unknown scammers no one's ever heard of instead of spending a dollar more and dealing with a reputable outfit like Target Sports.

The Winchester SPP are gone. The CCI SPP are 79.80/K. You have to buy 5K for free shipping.

I would ONLY buy by the case - free shipping and you can always sell any you don't want.

While Federal's are my Fav, I'll usually buy the lowest price of the "big three" Co's. (Fed. Win. Rem.). None have ever failed me IIRC.

I was surprised to see them that cheap. Every time I've seen them for sale in the last 3 years they've been $120+. Prices are moving in the right direction.

Maybe you will find this interesting, I recently purchased some Winchester primers and was surprised by their appearance.
Looks like they put lacquer sealant inside the cup itself?
Don't actually know what that stuff is but I inserted a primer into an empty case and popped a cap...HA! I'm halirous! :D

I'm fairly sure I've seen that before and not recently. I'm not sure it was Winchester though.

I've been reloading for many years (since 1980) and that is the first time I've ever seen that, they are Winchester SPP.

They do seem to work just fine though. :)

There may be a little bit of what economists call "price discovery" here.

A week later, the $77 Winchester primers are gone, but the $88 CCI primers are still there (along with the higher priced Federal and Remington).

Now maybe they had the fewest of Winchesters, but when I first checked they all had "In Stock: 99+". The CCI and Remington still do.

It's encouraging to some degree at least.

I know that primers are expensive right now but, some things are crazy. I went to Scheels and found No 11 caps for muzzle loaders for about
$10/100. Looking on Gunbroker, they are selling just stupid. 200 caps for $100, 1000 for $250. Are these people not going out to Scheels or are they and buying them all and turning around and selling them on GB for crazy??????
