I've been finding primers at Sportsman's Warehouse for less than $59.99/1000, but you've only been able to buy 200 per day. Yesterday, at the SW in Carson City, I found that they are now allowing up to a brick a day. With the help of a my buddy, I left with two bricks, a mix of SPP and LPP. It's 5% less for vets.

I saw them for that price at a SW in the Denver area a few weeks back, but couldn't bring any home. I haven't seen reports of any SW's anywhere except out West that have them available. I haven't been to any of them in my area of Floridas West Coast, but I'm thinking I might drop by one to see what the status is. Has anyone else seen them at a SW in the East or Southeast?

Yep been buying there for several weeks. Clerk told me the limit applys to " each visit" , not per day. Buddy and I bought the limit got lunch and went back, no problems. Limit here ( JAX) is 400 and will check today.

During Covid, 2020, if I timed it right, I was able to buy full bricks at SW for $23 to $28. Although $89 seems what most are selling a brick, I wonder if $60 is closer to what they coujd/should be going for.

I remember paying around $38.00/ 1,000 for Winchester primers pre-COVID. With inflation going nuclear in the last few years, I'd think that $50-$55 per 1,000 would be a good price once the market settles down.

Yep - same price in VA as reported in CO with a 1 brick maximum.

I finally had a chance to run by a SW in the Tampa area today. Both of them are so far out of my way, that I kept putting it off. I stopped by the one in north Tampa just off I-75 at exit 270. They had both Fiocchi and CCI SPP std. and mags and Federal Match std. LPP. CCI was $60 per brick, Fiocchi was $90 per brick (for 1500, same price each as CCI), and the Federal Match LPP were $79/brick. Limit one brick per visit. They were out of LRP and SRP.

Mail order import primers seem to have somewhat stabilized in the $50-$60 range as the norm, fwiw.

There aren't really any SW stores in my immediate area. On-line, it says the in-store limit in my area is 200. I should look for future travel though. We take lots of day trips on weekends in my Prius, so 2 of us would be 400. Yes, avid shooter wearing a Carhart, in a Prius..... It's a tool to do a job, not a statement.

IIRC, it's a pretty blue. That's right, you drove a ways to meet at the Kelso SW for primers. Less than $30 IIRC

It's a special order color, though super popular around Seattle. it's a pearl pale blue leaning to green. It shifts depending on the sunlight.

I'll try the Everett SW location tomorrow when I head up there to get a Volquartsen Ruger upper transfered into Sound Loan and Pawn in Everett. I'm giving them a shout out as they are very pro 2A transfer location and do at least supressor sales/transfers too.

Our SW has raised the limit to 1000 per visit as well. I was able to pick up 500 CCI Magnum LPP and 500 Federal SPP last trip. They also had the 150 sleeves of Fiocchi SPP. It's been spotty, but at least they finally have something for sale. Same prices here. Federal and CCI's 60 per brick. Fiocchi 90 per 1500.

Plenty of primers now, but a shortage of 284 - 150 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip Hunting Bullets. Goes from one thing to another.

I don't understand your post. Are you saying you paid $12.00 for 200 primers? (.06 cents per primer)

My partner and I scored a box each of Fiocci, but they are 1,500 count, so I brought home 3K for just under $190 out the door.
