Source for Sideplate Screws - 4 Screw Victory Model

I have a parkerized WWII Victory Model in .38 Special that was "demilled" by drilling a hole in the underside of the barrel. I had a gunsmith fit a replacement Victory Model barrel and am now looking for the missing (4) side plate screws. I've looked at Numrichs without success.

Please post or pm me if you know who might have a set of Parkerized screws.

They make many obsolete S&W parts, and the old style sideplate screws are obsolete! Be sure to ask for a yoke screw. Ask if they have the rear flat head screw too.

I was wondering if the screw just above the rear strap of the trigger guard is the same as the yolk screw? There is an eBay seller that has all but the screw at the rear strap of the trigger guard, but I don't know if that screw is shared with the yolk screw on the 4 Screw S & W's.

The yoke screw can be/is, used in all locations on the sideplate. The only problem is that in a finished revolver the yoke screw has been fit to operate properly with the yoke. The same screw is used in the other locations but does not require fitting. The exception is for pre-war guns having the large head upper screw by the hammer.

Thank you, you've answered my questions! Though this is a war era Victory Model, it does have a large head upper screw. I'll get the flathead screw for the rear of the trigger guard and two small round head screws fitting one to the yoke. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Look at your stocks. If there is a small dimple on the back where the rear screw is then a round head for that position is correct. Or, you can cut the dimple to accommodate the round head screw.
