If I thought I was going to live this long I would have taken A little better care of myself!

That is also one of my favorites, I believe it was first said by Phil Harris, buddy of Bing Crosby, well known for his drinking exploits among other things band leader, composer. Crosby and Harris were often seen together, my mother received a phone call from the store downstairs that my grandfather owned. He told her to come down, Crosby and Harris were in stocking up for their trip to the Hayden Lake Compound. My mother never moved faster. Grandpa had a pharmacy, drug store on the main floor and offices, apartments upstairs. There was a soda fountain and the boys were sitting on stools small talking with a few people there. That would have been around 57-57, first and second grade for me.
