What Are These Revolver Tools? Answered - Broaches

I've had these for a couple years and haven't seen anything to tell me what they are for. They came in a S&W M66 armorers kit.

Appears to be tapered reamers that would be used in a pin vice, probably just to clean out or reshape an existing hole. That’s my guess.

I’d agree with jjrr, kinda long for a pin vise, looks like hand tools to me.
Life long machinist here, I have used tools like that for delicate work.

Where would you use then on a revolver? Must be to remove burrs or such as there is only the sharp edges on the "short end"?

Well, I’m not sure on a revolver, maybe spring pockets, but my gunsmith just last week had to use a hand reamer on my BRAND NEW S&W M&P 2.0 stuck drop safety plunger hole.

Those are broaches. Primarily used for enlarging small pin holes, and for clearing obstructions (damage) from pin cavities. Several of these in different sizes were provided in the armorer's tool kit sold by S&W.
