Not bad but could be better. Around my area (NE Denver) prices vary from mid $2.90's up to $3.20.

I stick with Exxon gas because of the known quality of their product. The price at the station near me fluctuates roughly 10cents every couple weeks but usually settles just below $3.

I think the highest price was around $4.49 somewhere back in the 90's. That ticked me off because I was working and drove a lot more. Since I retired a full tank (27gal) gets me just over a month of driving.

As far as you folks in California....Sorry! Can't help you.

I would be very happy only to pay that much.

I'm a shareholder of Exxon stock:D, keep up the good work!

Stopped at the Chevron station in Colfax, CA a few weeks back, on the way to the Reno show.

$6.45 a gallon

Waited until I got to Reno.

Remember.......Oil IS NOT a fossil fuel........No animal DNA has ever been in it. It's continuously formed in the upper magma crust of the earth........There is lots and will always be lots of it.

Iffen oil was made from dead animals we would have run out 100 years ago................THINK about it.......

Last tie i filled it was bout $3.40/gal. It fluctuates slightly for the holidays/weekends.

Six months ago, it hovered around $3-3.10. Now it's fluctuating from $3.40-3.65, sometimes in one week. The gas stations near the range I belong to are usually $0.10-15 cents cheaper, and they are 20+ miles further away from the major distribution center than the gas station two blocks from my home. Prices don't have to do with reality. All of the stations in my in-town area are close to interstate exits, so they are automatically higher priced.

I have to run "high test in my car. Currently it's running $4.49 per a gallon. Thank goodness I only have to fill up once a month, but that still runs close to $60..00 each fill up. As with several others here I have some Exon stock which has done quite well over the last year i just wish they had stations in my local area.

I have been using Shell exclusively for several years. Right now the price is in the $3.50 range for regular.

Premium is a full dollar per gallon more!

Like post #4, I really don’t know what I pay, but I think it’s around $3.80, once a month maybe. I use grocery store gas and by the time I’m due I’ll have maybe 20-30 cents off per gallon. I try not to worry about the things I can’t control. I CAN control how fast I pump. Angel (my dog) will attract “people” to the car and we talk pets, etc. Never in a hurry. Retirement is a God send and I’m never in a hurry. One attendant will usually come out and talk. She lives fairly close so we have a common road destruction problem we can bit complain about that. I’m a real social butterfly! Beer, gas, and beef are all necessities that I can’t control so I don’t dwell on them. I AM glad I don’t use diesel though. Down over the hill from me is one of those places that fills up the 18 wheel tankers to deliver wherever. Funny, they all have different brands on the side of the trucks but come from the same place.

Lowest locally today was $2.869 from Sams Club. Other stations range as high as $3.299. I don't trust Sams Club's generic gas. Not that long ago they had to repair several vehicles damaged by their gas. I try to stick with Texaco or Chevron. A bit more, but I know it's good.
