Another GB acquisition. She is a brown gun with about 60% of her blue. All numbers match, action is as smooth as you would expect from an old S&W 32 Winchester marked shooter. Bore shows strong lands and groves yet is dark. No end shake or cylinder play. Timing is on the mark. Now, the cherry on the cake; it went for $260 plus tax and shipping! Preliminary range report: it put 12 cast lead bullets into paper at 10 yards. Will get a better result a bit later. This was an inheritance sale and was listed twice and had a second bidder who upped the bid by $10 and left the scene. My win!

Good pick up, especially at that price.

Would you be willing to share the serial number for my tracking list? PM if you prefer not to give it in the open. I do not track ownership. Thanks.

I'm having trouble reading the number - 550xx??? Should be somewhere around 1911 or 1912, if the first three are 550. I show 54349 (a target model) in July, 1910; 55900 in July, 1912; and 55948 in July, 1913.

Please clarify all five digits. Thanks.
