Anyone else finding this ammo tough to find? I went to both a local Bass Pro and Cabelas and neither had ANY .460 ammo, tons of other obscure calibers but zero .460.
I ordered a couple boxes of S&B 255gr JHP online but have no experience with this ammo. Anyone shoot the S&B ammo in their .460? Cheap price has me skeptical.

Can’t remember the last time I saw 460 or 500 at my usual haunts. Come to think of it, I may have seen some at Cabelas not long ago. Regardless, it’s really become a handloader’s round.

Cabelas had a few boxes of 500 S&W as well as 50AE, 480 ruger, and a couple other big bore calibers. The guy at the gun counter told me he hadn’t seen 460 at their store in many months.

S&B ammunition is excellent and is made in Serbia. The company has military contracts with several European nations. You have nothing to worry about with any of their ammunition.

As noted, S&B ammunition is excellent, but it is made in the Czech Republic, not Serbia. They have been in business there since 1825 with their first product being percussion caps. Prvi Partizan (PPU) ammunition is made in Serbia.
