Way to many roles to remember, made so-so to bad movies better.
Conan, Piece of the Action and Swashbuckler come to mind.
I guess he liked baseball with Field of Dreams and the Sandlot.
Did he ever make it to Tijuana with Sheldon Cooper?
Another icon gone.
Back in the late 60s, I saw him off Broadway in his Tony Award-winning performance in 'The Great White Hope' opposite Jane Alexander. It was a free USO ticket. I was in awe of his stage presence and that voice!
We lost one of our own. James Earl Jones was a fellow NRA member. IMDB attributes the following to him:
"The world is filled with violence. Because criminals carry guns, we decent law-abiding citizens should also have guns. Otherwise, they will win and the decent people will lose."
What a voice. Also a great actor. I liked him in Dr. Strangelove. Was great in Red Oktober. For many years he was the voice of the EIB network. He brought a real chill to Darth Vader's words. RIP.
