Does the striker sleeve matter?

I have a M&P9 1.0. I am putting a 2.0 striker in it. Do I need to use a 2.0 or 1.0 striker sleeve? Will either one work in the 1.0 slide?

Without having both in front of me and inspecting both visually and with a pair of calipers, I can not say. Have you called the Factory and asked? I would think if you are able to get in touch with the right person they would know. Sorry - but that's about the best advise I can give not owning that model.

I did call S&W. There answe was to send me a 1.0 liner? While I am not opposed to this and as I have a 2.0 liner on the way (it was in stock as opposed to the 1.0). I am going to try and get a better answer so I don't have to burn through one. If I can use the 2.0 I will have a spare 1.0 for my M&P40 I guess.
